How do I remove a security center homepage without downloading any anti virus softwares if possible?

I've downloaded quite a number of anti virus softwares from the internet but none seem to have worked. Please help.

1. go to the control panel then add remove programs look for the security center program
2. download norton internet security 2006. it has homepage protection too.
3. you have tried changing it in the settings under Tools>Internet Options>?
4. At the top of your page it says tool go there and click Internet Options and it says address and you put whatever homepage you want but make sure to click ok after doing so
5. i think you will have to install some sort of adware remover as i have had a similar problem. a good free one is ad-aware se personal, you can find this at www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ . if you really dont want to install any virus ware you may want to think about installing a new web browser i would recommend firefox as it has good home page security.
