What are some good anti virus programs to buy?

I need to buy an anti virus to protect the computer... i have norton seciruty but it is not that good. Is there a good program that i can buy that can protects my pc and removes all viruses? Thank you.

1. i have been using Avast for years and it is very effective the price is reasonable as well another option is to have free AVG it has the highest reviews as the best free antivirus

6. If u want a gud anti virus for home pc protection just go for KASPERSKY ANTI VIRUS !! As kaspersky eatsmore resources and makes ur PC a bit slow that is why some people do no prefer it,bu tit gives maximum protection !! If u have less RAM then leave Kaspersky and opt for NOD32 The both anti virus are tried by me and are the top 2 anti virus I have every used !!
7. I have been using AVG free for years& yes,it does catch viruses! My brother uses the pay version& says it is also very good. It even has active surf shiel,in which when you are surfing the web,& go to choose from the list.the ones in res are harmfully potential threats. I like it because,you know ahead of time not to go there. It's very cool.Years ago.I had Norton & I didn't like it either. I've been using AVG ever since. (since 1999.)
8. i don't know the exact name for it but i know its called PC Chilllen i think that's how its spelled... its hard to find the latest version but you can purchase a years worth for only 49.99 its really good Ive used it on my HP computer that has windows vista and its great it allows you to do more with out having to spend so much money....

10. It really depends on what operating system you have. So it is better to try the free ones available and choose the one that suits you best.
