How can i create a windows xp image with all my applications installed?
I am really tired of reinstalling my windows and lots of other applications when my computer crashes. I want you guys to help me create an image of my windows xp with all my applications installed so i can easlily and fast recover them when they are gone. I have norton ghost 8 but that has too many tools (server, standard tools, stand alone) which i don't understand. Please suggest me some easy and good software to be free of this shit. Thanks you all guys.

- Try using R-drive. You'll get it from www.download.com. I've used it to do what you want and it's simple and good.

- Well norton ghost is the best imaging software though. If you want to create an accurate and usable image of your Hard disks, I suggest use it. Read Norton help about what you need, and go with it. Cause Norton ghost can backup all the system files they way they stored in your PC, and create the same partitions after a restore. Ihad image drive came with my MSI motherboard, but ghost is way ahead. Just spent sometime to learn it, and as you need it for just one PC, the standalone tools are what you need. Best of Luck
- If you don't mind spending a few bucks, buy a cheap external harddrive. I see them all of the time for $40 for the smaller ones and do a complete copy of your main hard drive onto the external. Very easy, very fast and what you get is an EXACT copy at the time that the copy is made. if you even a little bit computer savvy, and there is room in the pc, you can get an internal hard drive even cheaper, install it on the same cable or add hard drive and cable to the 2nd controller on Motherboard. Then do a complete copy. This is even cheaper and even faster than the external hard drive. All new hard drive come with the software to do the complete imaging.
