What computer should I buy and which broadband provider should I use?

I need to buy a computer and a laser printer, primarily for work. I work from home and do not need a laptop. I use the Internet, Excel and Word for work and that's about all. I do not store alot of information but I do need 20Gb or more for photos and music. I currently use an iMac and love it but it is being reclaimed by its owner at the end of October. The new computer and printer need to be as cheap as possible. What hardware best suits my needs and which is the best Broadband provider in the London area? Thanks in advance.

1. Most new PCs in the market go above 20GB and so you should not have any problems with them. You would enjoy the limited of your money if you shop for cheap Intel Celeron based PC.
2. Ok bro try to buy a computer that suits your needs like buy a computer form dell..... find out what you need it for first so check the computer out....internet i don't know what they got in london but i got bellsouth which is good but if verison is available then get that way cheaper...
3. buy another imac or a mac mini
4. 1st figure out what you budget is then check the local box store and compare prices. Mainly CPU speed, Ram, HD size, Type of video card (ram). go for the most bang for the buck. You could also try any home town computer stores also.
5. try the supermarkets for broadband i shop with tesco and so get their points on my shopping and so for me their package was not only the cheapest but i also get loyalty points every month their customer services people were very helpful in selecting which package is best for me

7. I can't tell you which computer to buy but I can tell you which you should not. I purchased from 'Mesh' who boasted an email help line which is non-existent as far as I am concerned. They never responded to a plea for help. A friend also purchased from them. They delivered a faulty computer which was returned. They sent the same one back with the same problem. After 6 weeks of a very unpleasant scenario, involving trading standards, he eventually got a refund. To say that they were less than helpful is an understatement. I used AOL for broadband which from the start was a nightmare. The connection would drop out frequently and I had to reload the software from time to time. When I was 'allowed' [by them] to cancel my contact I was told on the phone by their agent that I was the twelfth that day to do so. Good Luck.
8. I would say get the iMac. If you do get a PC just stay away from cheap dells because they are just that CHEAP. Go with a Gateway or hp.
9. I would certainly have to say what you do with your computer is important in knowing what to buy. If you really only use Excel and Word, there are plenty of cheap computer's out there. You can try Dell computers, or going to your local computer stores and buy refurbished computers. Pretty much everything being sold today are decent enough to do your most basic needs. However if you multitask, I would go with a higher processor and possibly more RAM. Memory isn't really a problem nowadays, if in case you need more, you can always buy a new hard drive or an external hard drive.
