if i install windows xp sp2 on my laptop that has windows vista will it work ok?

OK i have a laptop running windows vista and it runs so slow. i can't do anything with it. i was wondering i have a windows xp sp2 (9 in 1) disc and i want to install it onto my laptop will this work or do i need some other disc.

1. You probably will need additional drivers that XP SP1 does not have. There is a good chance that, unless you know what each of those drivers are and where to get them, your installation will not work.
2. yes u can surely install xp sp2 on ur laptop, bt 1st u have 2 install xp then again reinstall vista on it. if u install xp on ur laptop which has already got vista, then ur vista wont boot. so after installing xp u need to install ur vista again. if u need more answer on it, feel free to contact me.
3. NO IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!!! earlier version of windows should be installed first than its later version.. if your computer is slow in running vista.then i recommend you to uninstall vista and only install windows xp(9 in 1). and after that you can also install vista.. remember to backup your imp.documents. for more help:email:sunny1689gupta@gmail.com
4. it will work if u install it in different partition
