How can i connect my laptop to the internet through wireless network?

I have a laptop. There is intel/pro WLan adapter in my laptop. How can i connect to the internet ?

1. you need to purchase a wireless router and hook it up to your destop PC. this will allow your laptop to wirelessly recieve an internet connection.
2. Well, you have to buy a wireless router (around $40). Then, you have to hook it up to your modem, and configure it, (shouldnt be too hard because it comes with a manual =D) After all that, you go to you laptop and there will be an icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen that'll have a balloon coming out of it saying "not connected". Click that balloon. Then, in the new window click "refresh network list" on the left side near the top. Choose whatever name you gave you routers connection (explained in the manual) and you should be set to go! If that doesnt work, then go into your control panel (found in the start menu) Click on "Network and interent connections, then wireless connection setup wizard. This little tutorial i made is for XP, but if you have vista, it should still work.
