Does windows vista work on the PS3 and can u change the region?

If you install windows vista on your PS3 does it work with HDMI and all that? I wanna play halo 2 for PC and my lappy's not powerful enough. Is the PS3 powerful enough to run halo 2? Also, to whoever's installed windows on their PS3, can you change the PS3 drive's region? I just moved from Malaysia to australia and i wanna still use the blu-ray player function

1. you cannot install windows onto a ps3 you can install linux and then use an emulator to run windows but it would be laggy oh yeah. MOST blu ray movies are region free, however some are still region locked. playstation 3 games are region free
