How to partation drives in windows vista without new installation or format ?

Can any one tell me how to partation my drives with out new installation or format like using partation magic software in winxp but as it doesn't work in windows vista is there any other way please let me know if any ?

1. You can't. Why do you need to do a partition? What you could do is add another internal or external hard disk drive and have as a slave and make it drive d:.
2. Go to your control panel and click System and maintenance>scroll down to Administrative tools and click "create and format disk partitions"
3. There is a great linux program called gParted. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ You can create a cd that you boot from and it will give you complete control of how you want to partition your hard drive. Also vista has a built in a partitioning option in... start>control panel>system and maintenance>administrative tools>computer management>storage>disk management. It does the trick if you don't need anything too complicated.
