Is windows vista not compatable with powerpoints i can only view not edit help i need to get it done tonight?

I prepared a presentation at work today on office and brought it home to finish it, Im using windows vista and it will only let me view the slides not edit them. Is there anything I can do?

1. Office 2003 and lower documents are incompatible with Office 2007 (If you are using it). You can see them, but not edit them. You could open it, hit 'Save As' and save it as a compatible PP document.
