Windows Vista?

I'm planning on buying Windows Vista next week. I was wondering if I can install the program on all the computers in my house with only one disk.

  1. No, unless you want to get fined for every other computer you install it on other than the first computer. There is this thing called a "liscence key" which helps prevent piracy.
  2. i think so but im not sure, but if you decide to buy it i would check and see if your computer can run vista, without it being slow or anything becuase if its slow you're gona regret it
  3. I have vista now from my school (msdn) it is the full legal copy (business edition). You must activate Vista and it will only activate once, you will be able to install it but in 3 days it will no longer be fully usable . So in short, no you will not be able to use it on more than one pc. anyway, there are not that many new features other than eye candy and if your video card does not have 256 mb ram you will not even get that with vista. Hold off for a little while longer, odds are there will be some big bugs to work out still
