Computer Monitors? I have a computer that is about 4 years old (yes i need to buy a new one). I am an avid video gamer, but not on my PC, but on my Xbox 360. I was wondering if there are companies that make a high quality computer monitor that doubles as a Small HDTV. (Preferrably under 1000 dead presidents)

What causes computer monitors to burn out quickly? After a couple days of having the monitor plugged in it goes out. The computer also crashes ever once in awhile. It feels like the power supply is real hot. Could this be the source of the problem or is there something else that could be the problem. Monitor went out, bought replacement and the it went out after a few days. Don't want to buy another one til I know that I've fixed the problem that causes the monitors to go out.
