computer?!? how can u get rid of unwanted files on ur computer....like old movies u deleted that are still on the computer or books that were digital?!

Can connecting another computer to my network influence the connections of the other computers? I had two computers both connected to a wireless router. Yesterday I connected a third computer to the network and, although the connection goes through for this new computer, one of the original computers now says "Limited or no connectivity" and cannot connect to the Internet. Is it possible that the new computer is using up too much bandwidth and is therefore preventing the other computer from accessing the Internet?

When we code that computer to pump out a random number, what makes it pick the number it picks? Exactly the same computer sits beside it's identical and they both pick different 1st random numbers. Is the Bios fed a seed during construction and every new bios gets a different seed? Those of us that have worked with random numbers know what a seed is. So why does my computer give a number between 100 and 1000 as 756, but yours gives, 537? Is that not a form of intelligence beyond that of artificial? We gave the computer the ability to give random numbers, but what makes it give or pick that random number when in reality it has no 'will' to decide. Why 3 and not 4, when it favours nothing? Even with a seed, what makes it choose 5 with this seed but 7 with that seed? Where in the ruels of life does it say that, with this seed equaling 756395837 in that computer, 1st random # will be this?

Why is my computer screen going black after the start up screen? I just upgraded my fiances computer with a new motherboard, RAM and CPU. We were previously having problems with his computer freezing so we did the upgrade. I installed everything and the computer turns on yet when I try to boot it off a CD the screen goes black after the screen that says "press any key to boot off disk" also the screen goes black after the start up screen. What causes my computer to take so long to recognize all the drives? When I click on "My Computer", the little flashlight goes back and forth searching and searching and finally after several minutes shows my drives. Sometimes, even then, it does not recognize portable storage devices connected to a USB port. How do I get my second computer to connect to the internet? I have a 2wire homeportal. I have the first computer pluged in by ethernet, and I can go to website, talk to friends on this computer. On my second computer, it allows me to share files with this computer through a network, but I can not browse the interent on it or talk to friends. My 2wire is a wirless dsl external modem. The second computer has a USB connection, and my first computer has the ethernet connection. The computer with the ethernet connection works perfectly fine, the second computer which has earlier had the ethernet conection pluged it, but has the same problem. The computers can share files by using the dsl as a switch, because it has it's own network (MSHOME). They both are setup connected directly to the internet, (host computers). When I had my first computered connected to the DSL with the USB, and the second computer pluged into the first computer with the ethernet cable (directly from the second computer to the first computer) and my first computer was setup as a host computer, and the second computer was set as a a client computer, it still would not allow my to connect to the internet. The second computer has Norton Internet Security, which I am not allowed to change the settings to, if they is my problem.
